"We may not find explanation to the meaning of siege. I have searched a lot in all the dictionaries I knew and I can't find a meaning for it. I have searched for a picture or even shape for this gelatinous thing which choked our buds and Souls. It chained our love to the extent that I could not find any meaning or reason for the slow death which grow up in our roots, for this oppression, for this fatal Silence. Besides, if we take a look for the whole world we will find all the eyes stare on Gaza without any feeling of our death. Without any attempt to save us from this daily guillotine, so we are left alone on the doorstep of death (life)."
In Gaza Community Of Mental Health Programme (GCMHP), World Health Organization (WHO), in cooperation with Windows from Gaza for Contemporary Art, this siege is exhibited in its actual shape and from all points of view. Moreover, we show it from the point of view of those who live inside it and know it well, and who hear about it. We will present all these insights in a contemporary artistic manner to reach the whole world.
